FAQ
Everything you need to know
How do I book a lesson?
In the “Book your lesson” section: choose your lesson and how many of you there are, a free day and time (green = available, red = full) and whether you need equipment. At the end you will see the reference for the Bizum deposit, and your time slot is held while you pay.
How does the deposit work?
The deposit (60 € Silver, 90 € Gold, 225 € Diamond) is paid by Bizum when you book, with your name and the lesson date as the reference. On the day you pay the total and I refund the deposit. If you pay for the lesson in cash you get 10% off. No Bizum? Message me on WhatsApp and we will arrange a bank transfer.
What if I need to cancel?
If you cancel 72 hours or more in advance, I refund your deposit or we change the date. With less than 72 hours’ notice, or if you don’t show up, the deposit is not refunded. If the resort closes due to the weather, you choose a new date or a refund.
Where do the lessons take place?
At the Sierra Nevada ski resort in Granada, Spain. I will confirm the exact meeting point with your booking.
Do you teach beginners?
Yes, I teach all levels: beginners, intermediate and advanced.
Are you a qualified ski instructor?
Yes. I hold the TD3 (Técnico Deportivo Superior en Esquí Alpino), the highest qualification for teaching skiing in Spain. I give private ski lessons in Sierra Nevada to adults and kids of all levels.
Do you teach kids?
Yes, I adapt lessons to little ones according to their age and level. More information on kids ski lessons.
Can I book a lesson and equipment?
Yes. In step 3 of the booking you choose the equipment (skis, boots, poles, plus a helmet in the kids set) and for how many days. When you book a lesson you get up to 20% off all the equipment in the booking, including sets for companions who are not taking the lesson.
What times do you offer?
When you book and choose a day, you will see the free times for your lesson. If you need another time, message me on WhatsApp.
How do I get my confirmation?
You get an email when you book with the Bizum details, and a confirmation email as soon as I receive the deposit. A few days before, I will message you on WhatsApp about the meeting point.
Can I pay by card?
The deposit is paid by Bizum. On the day you can pay in cash (10% off the lesson) or by Bizum. I don’t take online card payments.
Can I get videos of my lesson?
Yes. When you book you can add the video kit for 49 € per booking: 3 to 5 edited vertical clips, ready for your social media, within 48 hours. You can also get it free if you authorise me to publish the footage on my Instagram, YouTube and TikTok profiles.
